Autodesk’s core software is either desktop or cloud based, the cloud based packages are lighter weight in scope and functionality and aimed more at the concept modelling stage and collaboration. There is also a range of tablet based apps which are even lighter weight and are generally free, although a majority of the Autodesk packages are available free to students.
