Tools > Relations
Type a name for the new parameter followed by ‘=’ and the equation for the parameter utilising model parameters if needed:
Pick the Execute/Verify Relations tool as indicated in the above image and the new parameter will be created
This parameter can now be used in an engineering drawing where a where a model parameter did not previously exist:
